The best burgers in Tarrant County

After a Reader’s Choice bracket, these are the best burgers around, decided by you.

Fort Worth

It’s summertime which means warm weather, pool days and, of course, hamburgers.

The Star-Telegram has you covered for where to get the best burgers in Fort Worth with these eight spots who were finalists for our Reader’s Choice Best Burger in Fort Worth contest.

Read about the two Reader’s Choice winners: Hooker’s Grill restaurant and Sweet Sugar High food truck.

Catherine and Juan Fernandez’s mobile food truck Sweet Sugar High won Star-Telegram Readers’ Choice Best Burger contest. The couple are fairly new to the Fort Worth culinary seen, but passionate. They started their business during the COVID-19 pandemic after Juan lost his job. They hope to one day open a permanent location. Amanda McCoy [email protected]

Chapps Burgers

This North Texas mainstay opened its first location in downtown Arlington in 1984. Since then, six more restaurants have opened in North Texas from Cedar Hill to Keller.
