I’m new back again from prestigious lawn of the Pebble Seaside Concours d’Elegance the place I experienced the honor of encouraging Ken Gross & David Grant decide the incredibly hot rods when again. This decades ‘Class V’ was precisely celebrating the 1932 Ford ‘Historic Very hot Rods’, in recognition of the 90th anniversary of the design. The winners experienced to be culturally important rods with noteworthy heritage: Dry lakes/ Bonneville level of competition, roadster clearly show wins, journal aspect cars and trucks, and many others., so I understood this was *not* going to be a cake stroll. Amid the Deuce entries were being the roadsters of Ed “Axle” Stewart, Gray Baskerville, Ray Brown and Tom McMullen (these last two not remaining judged).
So the winners?

1st: 1932 Ford Bob McGee Roadster, Bruce Meyer, Beverly Hills, California

2nd: 1932 Ford Pacific Gunsight Distinctive Roadster, Kim McCullough, Pompton Plains, New Jersey

3rd: 1932 Ford Ian Cusey Roadster, Robert Owens, Wellington, Texas (Flattop Bob!)
