US Pricing for the Mercedes-Benz EQE Starts at $74,900

More than a year after its official unveiling, the pricing for the Mercedes-Benz EQE Sedan in the US has finally been revealed. According to Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA), the fully electric sedan starts at $74,900 plus $1,150 for destination and delivery charges. The announcement also came with a confirmation that the EQE will be rolled out in US dealerships by fall.

The EQE draws heavy inspiration from the striking body of EQS. However, it ditches the liftback design in favor of a conventional sedan rear compartment. In addition, it is shorter than the EQS and it distances itself from the flagship of the EQ series with some new accents including its larger closed front grille and a new set of wheels. Moreover, it’s worth noting that the EQE has a drag coefficient of 0.20, which strongly contributes to its aerodynamic efficiency.

Likewise, the interior equipment of the EQE mirrors the same tech and detailing found in the EQS. It features Mercedes’ signature Hyperscreen all-digital dashboard that seamlessly integrates the instrument cluster, central touchscreen display, passenger side display, and augmented reality (AR) system on the heads-up display (HUD).

MBUSA is still keeping the powertrain numbers of the Mercedes-Benz EQE Sedan under wraps, but what we know so far is that it will have at least 305 miles of electric range from a full charge based on EPA estimates. Furthermore, it will be offered in three trims, namely the EQE 350+, EQE 350 4MATIC, and the EQE 500 4MATIC. Meanwhile, each trim has three levels to choose from, including Premium (base-level), Exclusive (mid-level), and Pinnacle (top-level). More options are unlocked for the leather upholstery and tech on each trim and level.
